Análisis de coste-efectividad de los cuidados integrados en adultos afectados por psicosis crónica grave: protocolo para una revisión sistemática y metaanálisis
Resumen
Las psicosis crónicas graves (PCG) se consideran a un grupo de enfermedades con sintomatología psicótica que se engloban dentro de la enfermedad mental grave (EMG), que se caracteriza por un deterioro persistente debido a trastornos mentales, y afecta al 6-8% de las personas con trastornos mentales. Estas personas enfrentan desafíos clínicos y sociales, como comorbilidad con otros trastornos mentales, trastornos somáticos crónicos y discapacidad social. A pesar de la evidencia que respalda los beneficios de los cuidados integrales, su implementación en salud mental es limitada. La atención integrada puede generar ahorros significativos y mejorar la calidad de vida en comparación con la atención habitual. Es crucial realizar revisiones sistemáticas y metaanálisis sobre los cuidados integrales en la psicosis crónica grave (PCG) para identificar lagunas y estimular futuras investigaciones y planificación en este campo. Aunque se han realizado estudios en los últimos años, aún no se han realizado revisiones sistemáticas o metaanálisis sobre este tema.
Metodología:
Se llevará a cabo una revisión sistemática de estudios sobre análisis de coste-efectividad de los cuidados integrales en personas con psicosis crónica. Se considerarán estudios publicados sin límite temporal y sin restricciones de idioma. La medida principal de resultados será mejora de la calidad y duración de vida medida mediante los años de vida ajustados por calidad, mientras que las medidas secundarias serán: ingresos al año, duración media de las hospitalizaciones, coste de la atención, visitas a urgencias y gasto en fármacos. Se incluirán estudios que incluyan usuarios de mayores de edad, de ambos sexos. Se realizarán búsquedas exhaustivas en bases de datos, así como en otras fuentes de información. El riesgo de sesgo de los estudios será evaluado. Se realizarán metaanálisis de efectos aleatorios y se explotarán posibles fuentes de heterogeneidad (mediante análisis de subgrupos y metarregresión).
